Halloween & Life

So I realized that I haven't been doing a very good job at keeping up with my blog. haha So here is a bit of an update. My last Dr.s visit was about 2 weeks ago and at that time I was told that I am measuring full term, which right now I am only 35 weeks. But I won't complain. My baby boy is getting very big and still moving around like crazy. Last Thursday I had to go into Labor & Delivery due to contractions. And not just little Braxton Hicks ones, like actual contractions. So they gave me a shot to stop them, which it did instantly, but then made me incredibly shaky the rest of the night. So since then I've been having contractions on and off, but nothing steady like I was having.
Saturday was Halloween of course and I had lots of fun. I got to help my step-daughters get their costumes on and do their hair and make-up, which they loved! haha We then went Trick or Treating up on Lay Hill in Cedar City, we only went to like 15 houses and they had their bags almost full, it was insane. Well after that Rick and I had been invited by a friend of his from school to go to a costume party. Rick had a blast and I got to meet a lot of new people, but I mostly either just sat there or sang kareoke! haha Trick or Treating had kicked my butt and had no energy left. It was still really fun.
On Sunday my sister Bridget took some prego pics of Rick and I, which I was very excited about! So hopefully I'll have one or two of those up soon. Every week I get paid Monday night at midnight and usually am taking off to Wal-Mart to do middle of the night shopping, which is awesome! haha No lines, no fighting crowds, or worrying about the people around being sick or not. But anyways, Rick and I went shopping last night after my money went through and finally decided it was time to start stocking up on diapers! So last night I bought my first packages of diapers for our baby boy, and wipes of course. We then kind of wondered the infant section for a bit looking at clothes and such, and Rick was actually having a lot of fun doing it, which made me so incredibly happy! I'm beginning to think that he wants the baby out more than I do! haha And coming up this Saturday, Bridget(and Jess I do believe) are throwing me a baby shower! yay! I'm so excited! I really thought for a long time that I wasn't going to have one. But I'm so grateful that my sister is doing this! I'll post pics of the whole shebang after its over.
